Maternity Beach Photos in the Best Hidden Spot Between LA and OC

There’s a quiet little stretch of beach Ive been shooting at for the last 10 years. It’s tucked right between Los Angeles and Orange County, which makes it perfect for both my LA and OC clients who don’t want to drive forever or fight for parking. No crowds, no chaos. Just clean sand, open sky, and light that is just so dreamy.

 

I usually start near the sand dunes. It gives us a chance to warm up, walk a little, get a feel for the light and also hide away from the light as its still a little harsh to head to the water when we first get started. It makes for some great shots before we make our way toward the water as the sun starts to drop. The light here always hits a perfectly. It's softer, cleaner, not too harsh. It gives this easy, cinematic look without needing to force anything. Just overall dynamic, flattering and beautiful.
