Newborn and Family Photoshoot in Studio

There’s something really special about photographing a brand new family of three. This session here is why I love in-studio newborn sessions so much- They let you slow down and really take it all in.

For this session, mom and dad brought their newborn to the studio right right around that 2/3 week mark, which is the ideal time for newborn phosothoots  Baby is still sleepy and tiny, and parents are just starting to settle into their new rhythm,  not to mention Mama is ready for an outing!

We kept the styling soft and simple and cozy, pulling from pieces in my curated studio wardrobe to make things easy.  I absolutely love the cozy look in studio newborn sessions.

If you’re in Los Angeles or Orange County and wondering what the best setting is for newborn photos, a natural light studio might be the easiest decision you make. No prep needed, everything is ready when you arrive, and the focus stays right where it should be, on you and your baby. ( and again, not to mention a much needed outing right around that 2/3 weeks!)
