Why Studio Baby Photo Shoots Work Well ( One Year Baby Mommy and Me Phototoshoot)

If you follow me on  Instagram, you may have already seen this  mama and little babe for his one-year mommy and me session, it's for sure a  recent favorite! I first photographed this sweet little guy for his  studio newborn session, when he was just days old, and now they’re back for the one-year milestone, documenting in my private studio ( Central for both Los Angeles and Orange County clients) We want with editorial vibes for this session with a touch of cozy, just had so much fun with this session and reminded me why I tend to lean towards baby sessions in studio ( more below)

Plenty of room to crawl, cruise, and play

One-year-olds don’t sit still — and they shouldn’t have to. The studio gives them plenty of safe, open space to crawl around, explore, and just be themselves. No chasing your little one across a park, just soft, clean, baby-friendly space to roam.

No racing the sun

Outdoor sessions live and die by golden hour, which usually lands right around bedtime for little ones. In the studio there’s no rushing against the sun. We schedule around naps and your baby’s happiest hours,o you get photos of a well-rested, happy baby,  not a tired, cranky one.

That cozy, editorial feel you see in my work? It’s all here waiting — beautiful backdrops, thoughtfully styled  and everything we need already in the studio. All you have to do is show up with your little one and enjoy the session.
